Annual Hayward Lions Pre-Birkie

If you want to get the best preparation for the American Birkebeiner, the Annual Hayward Lions Pre-Birkie is the event you should not miss. The Lions Club Fundraiser and FUN race take place on the Birkie Trail, Hayward, WI 54843.

Each participant will receive a Pre-Birkie sweatshirt during the event.

This is the best Birkie preparation race in the Midwest.

The next event is scheduled for Saturday 13 February 2021.

Hayward Annual Fishing Event

This year, the event will occur on May 21 and 22 at Lake Chippewa Campground, 8380 in Hayward.

The Hayward Annual fishing event is one of the “Fishing Has No Boundaries” (FHNB) events, and probably the largest of these events.

The two-day event hosts up to 140 participants who take part in an exciting fishing experience.

Each participant receives a unique experience on a boat or pontoon. Winners are awarded throughout the event.

71st Annual Musky Festival

The Musky Festival is the largest community festival in Hayward. Between Friday 25 and Sunday 27 June, the festival will mark its 71st festival in Downtown Hayward, WI.

This event provides a great fishing experience and family fun.

The Musky festival weekend begins with lots of family events such as children’s games and carnival. There are also sidewalk sales, handmade art, and craft shows, live music, all these combined with delicious food booths.

The event later features fishing contests, large street dances on Fridays and Saturdays.

The festival comes to an end on Sunday with a 5 KM run/walk and a 10KM run.

For the kids, they have the Minnow Run to mark the end of the festival.

All people then gather for the Grand Parade in Downtown Hayward.

Grandview Firehouse 50

The Grand View Volunteer Fire Department and the Annual Homecoming Picnic weekend sponsor the Grandview Firehouse 50 event every August at the Grand View, Wisconsin 54839.

The firehouse 50 is a wonderfully scenic bicycle road race that cuts across blacktop roads, Chequamegon National Forest and Lakes Namakagon, and Owen.

The weekend is packed with music events, food, and fun for all families.

Birkie Trail Run Festival

Scheduled for Friday, September 24, and 25, the Birkie trail run festival will take place at the Birkie Ridge Trailhead.

The trail run will start and finish at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead.

The trail festival features nine events that will traverse the rolling hills, twists, and turns as you get to see beautiful vistas from the top of Mt. Telemark.

The finish line party will involve hot lunch, on-site camping, bonfires to enjoy with family and friends!.
